Shelter on the Hill

 Isolated shelter on the hill,

solidly built to stand cold Atlantic breeze

Wrapped in your misty morning dress,

you unveil a beauty impossible to describe

Perfect place for self preservation

from a society who cares for itself

Within your walls  I can find the comfort of

unawareness of what’s in the world outside

Your solace is the silence fragmented

by incense imported from Tibet

In the hectic vibe of urbanized life

I was desperately looking for you

Far north in the midst of lochs and munros,

abandoned roads directed me to you

Being in the embrace of your isolation,

the limits to time are fading away

And I feel perfectly fine with you
