Creation, change, destruction and the illusion of time

If you hear the word ‘destruction’ most probably your mind will link a negative connotation to it. But is destruction really negative, or is it rather a powerful releasing and creating energy, and do we have to perceive as well destruction as creation as something neutral?

In this world nothing is static, and subject to constant change. Consequently everything has a beginning and an ending. You could say that the changing nature of things is due to the unavoidable process towards destruction, or you could even say, death of its single components.

Whereby, also here it has to be said as a matter of fact you can’t really speak of destruction since besides the illusion of the individuality of things, that we have given a name, nothing is really destructed.

So in a more positive sense you could say understanding this non-individual, and consequently non-static nature of things leads to destruction of the false identification with the form. Most probably the most purifying destruction we can realize in our own life.

The concept of creation, change and destruction we experience in worldly phenomena is due to our own nature of naming and defining the things and phenomena we experience through our senses. This process of naming and defining things is only possible through the method of duality.

Consequently the root and cause of all worldly phenomena can only be inert and inactive and non-definable. If it wasn’t it would be subject to change and duality itself, and must have a beginning and an ending itself.

If you think for example of the concept of the universe: from the moment you say in the beginning there was only darkness, you imply that there is brightness too. Duality is created, change is implemented: dark can become bright, and vice versa. And so the cycle of creation, change and destruction is created. It is only by trying to define the underlying nature of the universe that we give it individuality and actually create the whole cycle of creation, change and destruction of it.

Because of this cycle of creation, change and destruction it is possible to measure things in time also. Although time as a matter of fact is just as illusory as the individuality of things. The root and cause of all worldly phenomena, which actually is above the bondage of this cycle, you could say is the real controller of time.

The root and cause of worldly phenomena must be subconscious of nature, it is the conscious nature of our own mind that creates the illusion of the individuality of worldly phenomena and therefore makes them subject to destruction and re-construction.

So the main mystery remaining to be resolved is: how from a subconscious force consciousness could come into existence? And for which reason?
