Mystic Places – Part 1

Mystic Places – Part 1

The train left late in the evening and

crossing invisible lines

the view of this eternal place at the river

I never imagined I would come to

faded away piece by piece

Like all places this city

can never be called a home

it’s rather a state of mind

to which you connect through thoughts

This process of present flowing into past

which alternatively is called missing

was bringing the image

in the dungeons of my mind

closer and closer to perfection

With the growing darkness

and the fading of surrounding noises

the mind was returning to

the boundaries of time and space

bringing back a notion of normality

or should it rather be called insanity?

And I was wondering why is it so

that when you get lost in a really strange place

destiny seems to be your most faithful guide
